GOCOMBOIJHD95 - My Current Globe Prepaid Subscriptions

For my Globe prepaid, I used to avail of GoUNLI50. But recently, I learned of a better promo to avail - GOCOMBOIJHD95

GOCOMBOIJHD95 allows me to enjoy unlimited calls to Globe/TM subscribers, unlimited text to ALL NETWORKS for a week. Plus, it offers 100 MB surfing & free Facebook. All these for only Php 95.00.

Whereas, GoUNLI50, only allows 3 days of unlimited calls to Globe/TM subscribers, unlimited text to ALL NETWORKS.

Comparison by simple computation; I spend almost 17 pesos per day for GoUNLI50 compared to a slightly lower 14 pesos per day for using GOCOMBOIJHD95.

Since, I used my globe sim in my back-up phone, I can't really tell if the free 100 MB and Facebook is similarly enjoyable.

For my fellow Globe prepaid subscriber, I suggest you try this new promo package - GOCOMBOIJHD95

Globe's Go Sakto - Trying to Create My Own Promo

An officemate approached me, inquiring about Globe's Go Sakto? And I, shamefully, was caught unaware. This should not be the case if I intend to be a good prepaid cellphone load seller. Here's what I did afterwards...

Go Sakto is Globe's service allowing its prepaid subscribers to create their own promo whether for calls, text messaging or for mobile internet consumption.

The idea of flexibility in choosing what you need out of your cellphone is very welcome to all of us prepaid users. We have to, even reluctantly, admire Globe for coming up with this.

Go Sakto - Globe's Create your Own Promo

Go Sakto Screenshot from Globe's Website

So, I immediately tried Go Sakto, opting for unlimited text messaging to all networks for one month. Here's what Globe is offering me to avail of such service:

Globe is charging me Php 466.00 for unlimited texting for 30 days. As far as I know, Globe's unlimited text to all network for one day is 25 php. If you multiply that by 30 that would be Php 750.00 plus the inconvenience of having to register daily for the service. With this example, Go Sakto afforded me some Php 284.00 savings. And since I am a loadxtreme dealer/retailer, I will save an additional 46 pesos.

Not bad!

Unfortunately, Go Sakto does not offer unlimited call to all network. What it offer is only 500 minutes worth of call to all networks. And if you want to avail that plus unlimited text to all networks, that will cost you a whopping Php 7, 333.00.

Admittedly, my experiment is kind of demanding. Hehehe!!!. For the meantime, I will prefer using my sun sim and load only my Globe sim as needed.

Globe SUPERUNLIALLTXT - Unlimited Texts to ALL NETWORKS, Php 25 for 1 Day

Globe is now offering a service that allows its prepaid subscribers to text anyone from any mobile network unlimitedly via SUPERUNLIALLTXT.

I can text anyone as long as I like for a day and with only 25 pesos? Every text scammers' wildest dream!

A promo text about it greeted me this morning. Unfortunately, I have not enough prepaid load at the moment to test it out.

Globe SUPERUNLIALLTXT

Globe sent me this text message coming from 4438:

MyRewardsMyGlobe: Sa P25 load, may earned points ka, super pwede mo pang ipambili ng unlimited texts to all networks plus 1 hour mobile internet sa bagong GLOBE SUPERUNLIALLTXT. To register, txt UALL25 to 8888. Sakto lang sa bulsa, may points ka pa!
Naturally, I searched online for this. A few blogs [ here & here ] have already written about this latest prepaid product offering since yesterday but (again) it is not yet on Globe's website. Sending INFO to 8888 for more details proved to be no dice, too!

SUPERUNLIALLTXT offers unlimited texts/SMS messages to ALL NETWORKS good for 24 hours (1 Day) for only 25 pesos. No end of promo date was mentioned.

Sounds like a fair deal if you really need to be texting a lot on a given day. Of course, only if Globe system can support on a lot (if not all) subscribers availing this prepaid product/service simultaneously.

The one-hour mobile internet comes to me as a mere bonus. Could anyone please share their experience with Globe's mobile internet connection?

I once tried Globe's prepaid Tattoo but found Smart Bro & Sun somehow more passable in terms of speed in my area.

Apparently, Smart too has an unlimited-texts-to-all-networks product too. Found that here.

Kindly comment about your experience with this product, preferably not anonymously. If you are using both, comparison between the two is much more welcome. :)

From the ad I saw on March 20, 2011, the Globe Tattoo Stick is being sold at Php 1245. Freebies being offered are 125 free surfing hours and 2000 texts/SMS to Globe & TM cellphone numbers. To enjoy these freebies, those who buy the prepaid broadband stick need to text FREE125 to 8888. They can enjoy the freebies for 30 days.

Promo is from March 15 to June 12, 2011.

Another related promo is the Buy 3, Get 1 Free promo on Globe Tattoo Stick. Basically, the prize goes down to Php 933.75. This promo is from March 13, 2011 to April 13, 2011.

Better yet, verify with Globe business centers if you are interested to get one.

If I don't already have my Smart Bro broadband plug-it, I would definitely try Globe's Tattoo broadband stick. The globe signal in my home area is strong. And if the service would proved to be bad, I can just enjoy those 2000 text as most of my contacts are using Globe sims.

Are you using one? How is its performance? Kindly, share with us via the comments section.

Globe SuperUnli 25 Wants me to Blog About It

I was with GF Tintin at the SM Megamall when I noticed the Globe SuperUnli 25 advertisement.

First, we passed by it at the escalators a lot of times. And then while waiting for a ride home at SM Megamall's transport Terminal. There's also another ad board about it.

I took that as a sign that I should post it here in my own little blog.

Watch this Globe SuperUnli 25 Video Commercial

Globe SuperUnli25 is basically a service offering unlimited calls and text to Globe/TM subscriber for one whole day. Just text SUPER25 to 8888 and maintain P1 Peso balance to enjoy the service for 24 hours.

SUPERSURF50 - 1 Day Unlimited Internet Globe TATTOO Prepaid Broadband

A friend lent me her Globe Tattoo Prepaid Broadband plugit last Sunday wherein I tried loading SUPERSURF50.

SUPERSURF50 allows Globe Tattoo users to enjoy 24 hours or one day of unlimited broadband internet. All I did was typed in the keyword [SUPERSURF50] sent it to 8888, wait for the confirmation and enjoyed internet connection even though the confirmation message said that this service is good only until 8/31/2010.

Good thing I was able to load it immediately and connect immediately as well.

I was able to enjoy 24 hours or 1 day of unlimited internet connection. Although there are downtimes and several disconnections, I would say that it was good enough for my personal surfing and blogging. I was able to update 4 of my blogs. Factor in research and editing of my blog post. I would say the 50 pesos is worth it. It was just unfortunate that I loaded it late afternoon and did not connect while I was asleep.

I think there was some extension of this service but verify first to be sure. To enjoy one day unlimited internet connection using Globe Tattoo prepaid yourself, just use the Text tab of the Tattoo interface. Type SUPERSURF50 and then send it to 8888. A 5 peso load balance should be maintained to be able to use the service. A minimum of 55 peso worth of load is actually needed to enjoy this service.

It's just too bad that Loadxtreme does not offer a direct loading of this service.

40 Free Text to All Networks from Globe when you load P100 frm Aug 7 - 11

Just received this free Globe Customer advisory seconds ago.

Stay connected to everyone with Globe!

Load P100 from August 7 to 11 and get 40 Free Texts to other networks valid for 1 Day

40 Free Text to All Networks from Globe - not good not
After discontinuing its IMMORTAL TXT service, Globe is offering this promo.

Pretty much not good enough if you ask me considering the free texts are only valid for a day.

I believe the free text to other networks is not that appetizing for Globe subscribers to load 100 pesos.

Unless for the given duration, they would need to text relatives and friends from other networks a lot.

I hope they can come up with better promo's soon.

Globe IMMORTAL TXT Ended
Effective August 1, 2010

One customer asked to be reloaded with 25 Globe prepaid credits early this morning.

After some time, she approached me and said that Globe's IMMORTAL TXT promo is no longer in effect.

So, I myself checked with 8888. Sadly, it's true! The text service ended last Sunday, August 1, 2010. :(

Globe's IMMORTAL Text Service isn't truly immortal after all.

Globe IMMORTAL TXT Balance & Inquiry

Here's how I came to know about the IMMORTAL TXT balance and inquiry.

For some days now, I have been receiving the same reply from Globe, every time I inquire about my prepaid load balance. I theorized that recent typhoon Basyang had somehow damaged Globe' system. Nice! Free prepaid credits or so I thought.

Well, that is until GF Tintin taught me about the IMMORTAL TXT balance. She correctly pointed out that it was so because I am still enrolled at Globe's IMMORTAL service. And taught me to inquire first about my IMMORTAL balance.

Following her advice, I send IMMORTAL BAL to 8888.

Right after that, it became clear to me. There is no technical glitch on Globe's network. It was just me forgetting I availed of the service. The free text I accumulated by loading other Globe prepaid products had been increased by the IMMORTAL service.

And since, I am just texting most of the time, that explains why my overall prepaid balance remained unchanged.

Whoa! Thanks to tintin, my new expert on IMMORTAL. And it is me who maintains this blog? LOL!

Extending Globe Prepaid Load - Experiment

Here's a simple way for Globe prepaid cellphone subscribers to try to extend their prepaid credits.

Go to the nearest prepaid load retailer and buy Globe 40-peso worth of credits. This is the one that comes with 20 free text messages.

And then avail of Globe's Immortal Text service. That practically means you have 75 text to TM/Globe subs. 30 total free text to other networks and 15 peso load to call. Remember that you need to main 5 pesos to continue to enjoy the Immortal Service.

This was suggested by GF tintin, I feel that it is worth a try. Just an update, the immortal service still works even though my last blog post about the service says it is only up to June 30, 2010.
