Finding My Old Smart SIM Card For My Upcoming Nokia C2-00

I'm so hopeful of owning a Nokia C2-00 dual sim phone next month. Together with my Globe sim, I intend to use a Smart SIM on the other slot. It is easy to get a new Smart sim these days but I thought my old Smart sim would do just fine.

That is, if I find it and if my old Smart sim is still active.

I stopped using my old Smart sim when my cherry mobile C55 cellphone gave up on me early this year and forgot about it until today. Fortunately, I was able to find my C55 among my clutter and the Smart sim inside it.

I can't remember when I last loaded it. So, you can imagine my great relief to see the Smart Gold logo when I inserted it to my current cellphone - Nokia 1110.

I feel that my old Smart sim will help me be contacted by long lost friends/colleagues and former prepaid loading associates.

When I finally use that Nokia C2-00, I feel that I'm giving my friends more ways to reach me using cellphones promos they find cheaper from either Globe and Smart.

A dual sim phone is greatly advantageous for my loading business as I also offer pasaload (for Smart) subscribers and share-a-load for (Globe subscribers). Using both Smart and Globe also help this blog as I can share first-hand experience using both.

There are other advantages in using a dual sim phone as enumerated by Nokia. And today, cellphone users have a lot of choices for dual sim brands. I just really like Nokia because all my Nokia phones lasted long enough. And I expect the Nokia C2-00 to be also that durable.

There is also this note from Smart's webpage that this promo must be used for peer to peer transactions only and not for commercial purposes or for spamming.

Except for the unlimited text to Smart/TNT?Red subscribers, I can't figure out how this promo can be used for spamming. Anyway, it is better to be cautious not to just give your Smart buddy number to anyone, and not give those of your friends nos to anyone without their consent. A little paranoid may be, but such precaution is needed if you don't want receiving unsolicited text ads or worse text scams.

Smart Flexi 15 - Affordable Flexibility for your Smartload

Here's another smartload product I heard over my favorite radio program, Smart Buddy's Flexi 15.

Smart Flexi 15 allows its subscribers to send text messages to all local networks for only Php 0.50 per text or to call fellow Smart subscribers, Talk 'N Text or Red Mobile Subscribers for only Php 0.50 per minute.

This prepaid product from Smart really gives their prepaid subscribers affordable flexibility in communicating with other people.

Smart Flexi 15

To avail of the service, Smart subscribers should have a smart load worth at least 15 pesos. They simply to need to register to enjoy the service by sending FLEXI15 to 6415. A Php 1.00 balance is required for you to make a call under this service.

The service is good for one day so that may mean, 30 text to any local network or 3o minutes of call time to fellow smart or tnt/red mobile subscriber.

To make calls to Smart/TNT/Red Mobile subscribers at the discounted call rate, one has to dial the prefix *6415 + 11-Digit number they are calling. Example: *641509191234567

If you forget to do this, calls will be charged with the regular rate. Calls will be charged on a per minute basis. Meaning, calls made 59 secs or less will still be charged Php 0.50 under this service.

This service is only until March 31, 2011. I guess Smart Subscribers should avail of Flexi 15 immediately for more flexible options in reaching their loved ones and other important persons.
