TM's ALLNETCOMBO can make Dual-SIM Cellphones Unnecessary

Touch Mobile's or TM's All Net Combo is probably the first mobile product that covers all mobile networks.

As the name suggest, it is a mobile product that can be used to other networks aside from Touch Mobile and Globe.

I first heard of TM's ALL NET COMBO while riding the MRT yesterday morning.

With this mobile product, a TM subscriber can send 100 texts/SMS and enjoy 10 minutes talk time to subscribers of TM and other networks - Globe, Sun, Smart, Talk 'N Text and Red Mobile for only Php 25.

Previous cellphone products that I know of are mainly for the same mobile network and its affiliates. Normally, the bulk of mobile products can be used to same network and only a tiny portion can be used to different network subscribers. For example, Globe's Immortal TXT only allows 75 to TM & Globe subs and only 10 text/sms to other networks.
As I understand it, TM's ALL NET COMBO's 100 text is cumulative to all networks. As for the 10 minute call, it can be used as a one time 10-minute call or divided to several calls. Call duration below 1 minute is still considered as 1-minute call.

To enjoy this mobile/cellphone product, a TM subscriber only need to send the keyword ALLNETCOMBO to 8888. After a confirmation message, the service can be immediately used. The service is good for 24 hours.

If this kind of mobile product becomes common to other network as well, then having different sim cards to take advantage of different mobile products isn't necessary.

And as in any new prepaid cellphone product, I wish LoadXtreme would offer this product.

TOUCH MOBILE SIM Cards only 10 pesos

I was on my way to the MRT station when I passed by a guy offering Touch Mobile SIM cards - 20 pesos for 2 sims. I thought what the heck, and bought one TM Sim card for only 10 pesos.

The SIM card is preloaded with free text. It is just funny that the promo guy is not sure if its 25 free text for all networks. I'm also curious why they retain the sim card plastic holder.

Anyway, I used the Touch Mobile sim card to register GCASH.

I'm interested on GCASH because it will give me another option to sell load. GCASH subscriber has the privilege to load their own number or others (both Touch Mobile and Globe users only). Some sort of a backup, in case my loadxtreme loading is down or unavailable. Plus, GCASH is also used in online transactions and payment of bills like electricity bills.

According to the TM customer service rep I talked, all I need to do is go to the nearest Globe Business Center to put funds to my GCASH account.

In case you bought one too, and still do not know how to inquire about your Touch Mobile prepaid balance (just like I am at first), just dial *102# and press call.
