X-MEN: Days of Future Past - from a regretful Nokia Asha 501 owner
Man's fascination with the ability to travel through time have long been expressed most notably by H.G Wells who popularized the concept of time travel in his sci-fi novel The Time Machine. The reason behind is probably that humans, even then, has acknowledged his mistakes or limitations and yearns to be able to change them by "going back in time".
Even in today's gadget era, who has not regretted to getting a cellphone with a lot of promise only to be disappointed either by poor performance or wrong decision due to its incompatibility with ones' lifestyle? Perhaps only a very fortunate few.
Time Travel + High Technology + Science Fiction = X-MEN: Days of Future Past.
I'd like to use this blog space to admit my wrong decision to purchase my current unit: My Nokia Asha 501.
Up to this day, I am green in envy with my co-workers who enjoy apps with their android smartphones or iphones. Every time I borrow them, I wish I could time travel and not purchase this unit. My Nokia Asha 501 has only served me as a normal cellphone in general. Tsk. Tsk. Perhaps I was blinded by my loyalty to the Nokia Brand and the eye-candy design of my 501.
Here's to wishing that my next smartphone will not elicit much regrets in the future.
