New Cellular Player: RED MOBILE

I caught a TV commercial about the newest cellular company in the Philippines called Red Mobile.

What caught my attention was the 50 centavos per minute on their call rate. A quick check on the internet showed that its not as simple as that. First of all, you have to use a 3G handset. And that rate applies only to same network calls.

When I saw the ad, I was instantly convinced to buy their sim card priced at only Php 39. But that would mean a bigger cashout in purchasing a 3G mobile phone.

Since it is also owned by Smart, I hope my loadxtreme would also carry Red Mobile prepaid products.
