Prepaid Cellphones, Prepaid Loading and Loadxtreme®
Prepaid Cellphones may be regarded as the gadget of this new millennium especially for us, Filipinos.
Cellphones has captured the millions of Filipinos' fancy whether it be for simple personal communication or other much greater purpose. Majority has preferred the prepaid subscription as its give them more flexibility in using them.
Filipinos who own at least one cellphone are in the millions. And the sms or text messages sent in a day is also in millions. Undeniably, prepaid cellphones and prepaid loading is a multi-billion industry.
Out of this technology-induced culture change, the prepaid loading business for prepaid cellphone's credits or airtime had been borne. Loading centers or stores has sprouted left and right and is now ubiquitous all over the metro and even in rural areas.
From the traditional prepaid business, a new system of dispensing prepaid loads were developed wherein an ordinary SIM will be able to sell or dispense load to all mobile networks.
Among the pioneers of this system of prepaid loading, if not the first, is Loadxtreme®.
I came to know about this way back in 2006 in a forum I frequent, tried its retailership program and eventually became a dealer. My idea then is just to get active retailers and earn passive income. Though the income was minimal, I am fine with it, just wishing it would be sustained for a long period of time.
However, the company encountered problems by mid of 2007. The system was unable to deliver the services and eventually the company shut down. Good thing for me, I have already recoup my investment without going so much into recruiting fellow dealers but more on actual product sales via my retailers. Since then I have accepted that that was Loadxtreme's end.
Fortunately, in June of 2008, a new management took over of the system and the service resumed. Up until now, the service has been running smoothly. And I pray it will continue to do so in the near future just as the prepaid cellphones are here to stay.
